It uses the weakly encrypted https link that can be established with your Browser.

It has the same privacy 'strength' as most 'secure' online shopping and financial sites.

It is NOT secure against major government and large corporate eavesdropping. Although we maintain strictest security on our servers.

It probably will keep out all but the most determined mathematics/computer science students.

It is mostly a (very) quick demo of alternatives to 'secure e-mail' S/MIME without all the complications of x509 digital 'certificates'.

Note that this form allows for less traceable communication with MAI as the sender can remain anonymous if they choose to do so.
