Operational active and passive sonar system performance prediction and modelling.
From seismic survey planning and acoustic environmental impact prediction to national strategic planning of undersea defence systems, MAI's staff has considerable experience in the development and use of a full range of passive and active sonar modelling tools. We can design overall systems to a performance specification or maximize performance for a given fixed system budget.
Our algorithms are optimized for OS/2, BSD, and Linux platforms, particularly those employing Intel and AMD compatible processors. Strategic planning calculations are not the kind of problems one should trust to consumer operating systems better suited for home entertainment and video games.
