MAI staff designed the IHDA (Improved High-Frequency Directive Array) for the David Taylor Research Center used for the acceptance testing of the Seawolf-class submarines.
The IHDA is a constant beamwidth measuring array with over 140dB of spectral dynamic range.
MAI has extensive Finite Element Modelling (FEM) capabilities to design and modify sonar transducers, handling equipment, and hydrodynamic housings.
