Marine Mammal Monitoring Array

A portable Trout M3 hydrophone array sonar system is ideal for researchers, scientists, marine mammal watching cruise ships, environmental monitoring organizations, and individual whale and dolphin watchers.

The standard Trout M3 array system is shipped complete with the battery powered water resistant Control Unit is powered by two rechargeable gel cell batteries mounted within the control unit.

Standard features include: external battery recharge points, volume control, headphone jack, and signal output.
(Note: DAT recorder and headphones are not included as part of the standard M3 product.)

Available are custom multi-channel Trout modules and multi-array deckbox receivers to customer specific requirements. Multi-octave nested arrays (with special high frequency modules) and full size battery powered deckboxes with your choice of interfaces are also available. Options have included custom auxilary sensors and control modules, as well as high speed and full ocean depth capabilities.
